Hang Zhou

Hello! I am a third-year Ph.D. student supervised by Dr. Michal Mackiewicz (starting from 2022.03) at University of East Anglia, where I work on computer vision and deep learning. Previously, 2019.10 -- 2020.6, I was supervised by Dr. Han Gong (now at Apple) and 2020.6 -- 2022.3, by Dr. Sarah Taylor (now at Epic Game).

Prior to this PhD, I recevied my B.E degree at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

Personal

In my spare time, I like playing football and matching matches as a super fan of Real Madrid. Besides, I like history (war history precisely) and music.

Research

I'm interested in computer vision, 3D reconstruction, scene understanding. My Ph.D. project is about depth estimation from a single RGB image.
